Cemetery Regulations

  • Planting or digging flowers or shrubs is not allowed.
  • Artificial decorations are permitted November 14th to March 16th
  • Cut flowers can be placed on grave anytime.
  • Shepherd hooks are permitted.
  • Glass containers or vases are prohibited.
  • Potted plants and artificial flowers are permitted three days before or after:
    • Easter
    • Mother's Day
    • Memorial Day
    • Father's Day

Decorations must be removed by the end of the 3rd day.

St. Mary's Cemetery located north of the Village of Grafton on S.R. 57, has served the Lorain County Catholic community since the early 1800's.

In the 1980's the resurrection monument was added to the cemetery with the generous donations from both Assumption and Immaculate Conception Churches

Currently there are approximatley 120 lots available. These can be seen on a printed graph of plots. To set up an appointment to purchase grave sites, please call the parish office at 440 926-2364 and ask for Cemetery Sexton, Patrick Weir.
